A winding avenue through a gated granite entrance leads to the luxurious Grove Cottage where a warm welcome awaits all. Situated on a tranquil dairy farm setting in Tullow, Co Carlow, in the sunny South East of Ireland, the cottage is semi-attached to, but independent of the main house. Grove Cottage is a 4 bedroom self-catering cottage catering for up to 10 guests. The cottage boasts all mod cons and is decorated to the highest standard with many authentic antique features.

 

During the spring, summer and autumn months the cottage is scattered with fresh wild flowers while glow of a warm timber fire stove in the living room welcomes all, during the cold winter months. (Timber for the stove is provided free of charge for the 1st night.) Combine these little touches with the welcome of cheese and wine for adults not forgetting treats for the little ones and the tone is set for a memorable stay.

 

There is free ample car parking & free Wi-Fi throughout. The cottage comprises of a spacious airy living room, overlooking and leading onto the extensive gardens and also leads onto a modern kitchen, which also overlooks the extensive gardens. A separate utility room provides a washing machine, dryer and a 2nd large fridge/freezer including storage for extra household items, picnic/bbq facilities and blankets for outdoor use for summer evenings There are 4 bedrooms, 2 downstairs and 2 upstairs with a shared bathroom on each floor. Downstairs has 2 family bedrooms catering for up to 3 guests. ( A king size bed and 1 single bed in each of these bedrooms). The bedrooms upstairs provide 2 single beds in each bedroom. A travel cot, blanket and highchair are also provided. The Cottage boasts the comfort of being maintained at a steady temperature at all times using an underfloor geothermal heating system combining an underground heart source and an air pump. Hot water is available at all times. The property is secured to the highest standard including an eircom phone watch alarm system including smoke and carbon monoxide fitted alarms. CCTV is in operation surrounding the perimeter of the property.

 

Grove Cottage boasts large secluded gardens including many granite features and a variety of native flowers and shrubs along its winding avenue and in the gardens. The extensive gardens are suitable for children to play in, and include a children's climbing frame. A large patio overlooks the gardens and includes B.B.Q (gas supplied) and seating for up to 10 guests and is accessed off the living room of the cottage.
