About Grove Cottage at The Lodge
A winding avenue leads you to a luxurious cottage. Situated on a tranquil farm setting in Tullow, Co Carlow, Sth East is the cottage, semi-attached to, but independent of the main house, The Lodge. A large patio area with bbq is accessed from the sitting room, overlooking a large garden which includes a children's climbing frame. A 2nd secluded picnic area, with seating for up to 10 people can be found under a canopy of tress, giving the feeling of having a picnic surrounded only by nature.
Free WiFi throughout the cottage. There is Sky+ HD with most channels, except pay-per-view : normally movie and sports etc... The cottage has it's own Eircom Phone Watch alarm system, including cameras and a smoke alarm. The perimeter of the house has security cameras. Guests receive a key and fob for access to the house and to disable the fitted alarm. Underfloor Heating throughout the house with a stove fitted in the sitting room. Timber is supplied free of charge. The sitting room has sliding patio doors leading onto a patio area with a bbq(gas supplied) and a garden table that seats 10, ideal for sunny days and is for cottage use only. The large garden is shared with the main house. Two family pet dogs roam the gardens.
Guest Access
Guests are welcome to use the patio area off the cottage for their own private use. The large garden extending from the patio area is shared with the main house. Children are welcome to use climbing frame but children must be supervised at all times. Guests are strictly forbidden to access any part of the farm at all times. The avenue is shared with farm machinery so caution must be taken on the avenue at all times. Guests are restricted from using the patio area to the rear of the main house, although children are welcome to use the sunken trampoline in view of the kitchen window of the cottage, but must be supervised. Privacy will be afforded for guests to use the 2nd secluded picnic area, under the canopy of trees.
